A rhino at the Buffalo Zoo was spotted on July 12 loping along with visitors to the upstate New York attraction.
This footage, shared by Twitter user @fancythis, shows a rhino running up and down its enclosure, apparently following a group of children running on the other side of the fence.
The Buffalo Zoo reopened to the general public the previous week after its months-long closure due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The zoo is home to the endangered Indian one-horned rhino species, which are classed a vulnerable species by the World Wildlife Fund. The zoo made headlines for its successful artificial insemination program, which has produced three successful births of a greater one-horned rhino, including a male calf in 2019, local media reported.
