'RHOA': Kandi Burrus' Daughter Riley Speaks On Relationship With Father, Says 'I Don't Remember The Last Time I Spoke To Him'

Riley Burruss, the oldest daughter of The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burrus, has grown up on-screen over the past 14 seasons.

Primarily raised by Kandi as a single parent, some of her experiences with her father Russell "Block" have played out on the show. Spencer has spoken out against his daughter and her mother in interviews. Recently, Andy Cohen asked Riley about her relationship with her father on Watch What Happens Live.

Their relationship issues have played out on the show

Kandi shared with fans how Riley’s dad was not in contact with Riley and how they didn’t have a relationship. In one episode years ago, Riley said she didn’t want to get to know him, and she was fine without him.

There was a moment on the show where Riley and Spencer met up, but the visit was quick and tense. Spencer later claims that he was set up to be on the show.

Riley doesn’t seem to be missing out on anything and is surrounded by love from her maternal grandmom, Mama Joyce, her siblings from Ace, and Blaze, and her step-sister Kaela.

Spencer claims he is not a deadbeat father

Spencer is a businessman and owner of the record label, Block Entertainment. He is not shy when speaking on his relationship with his daughter and her mother. He has done interviews claiming Kandi didn’t encourage their relationship. He has also spoken out about paying child support, claiming that even though Kandi has more money than him, he was still ordered to pay. Kandi immediately clapped back saying Riley wanted the money and he owed it to her.

Spencer has been upset that he has been being viewed as a deadbeat father and didn’t let up on his comment about his daughter. According to him, Riley was jealous because she was the only child that didn’t live with him. He said in an interview with Vlad TV: “Every last one of my kids lives with me from when they’re born until graduate, except Riley.” Block also spoke about giving his kids a lot and Riley not being a part of that because he paid support.

Riley is not for the drama with her father

The mother and daughter duo took to Instagram to as ask Block to stop talking about them.

On a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, host Andy Cohen asked Riley about the status of her relationship with Block. Per Riley, not much has changed.

“I don’t remember the last time I spoke to him. So that answers that question,” she said firmly. Cohen responded with an “Oh, I’m sorry.”
