'Real Housewives of Orange County' star Kelly Dodd revealed that she is newly engaged just before filming the season 14 reunion on November 13th. If that wasn't a big enough surprise, she's not engaged to her season 14 boyfriend Dr. Reagan. She is now with new beau Rick Leventhal. Leventhal is a news anchor on Fox News. "I’m beyond excited for our future together,” Dodd told PEOPLE Magazine. “Rick is my best friend. My partner in crime. I’m so in love. I can’t believe this happened to me. I feel like I just won the lottery."

Kelly Dodd was floored by the big moment. “He said this amazing speech about our love and then got down on one knee and pulled out this giant ring,” Dodd said of Rick's proposal. “I couldn’t believe it!” She revealed the news on her Instagram on November 13th from Leventhal's New York City apartment broadcasting on her story, “I got engaged!” she gushed, showing off her massive new engagement ring. “Look at that, it’s a little big. Engaged!” “You deserve a big ring,” Leventhal assured her. She showed followers his romantic outdoor fireplace set-up and explained, “Oh my God, look at that, right there. Look at how he did it! Look how badass that ring is. BAM!”
While she might not be on the best terms with some of her 'RHOC' costars, they still had kind words for Dodd and congratulated her. "Yay!!! Congrats! Can’t wait to celebrate tomorrow," Emily Simpson wrote. Braunwyn Windham-Burke also added, "[Oh my God]!!!! I’m so happy for you! Can’t wait to see you tomorrow and celebrate !!" Ladies from all over the 'Housewives' franchise reached out to Kelly to show their support. "Congratulations so happy for you both," 'Real Housewives of New Jersey's Teresa Giudice wrote. 'Real Housewives of Dallas' star Brandi Redmond adding, "Ahhhhh. So happy for you gorgeous. He did so good. I need all the deets."
Fans are just as excited. @Meeshy10 tweeted, "DANG Girl ..Did he hire someone to hold your hand ?? Wow ! Good for you both."
Kelly has only been with Rick Leventhal for 3 months but she is confident that he is the one for her. She even is contemplating moving to New York to be live with him. Kelly Dodd could break 'Housewives' history as the first ever crossover housewife. The couple told PEOPLE magazine that they have set their wedding date as October 10th 2020.
