Yes. Voters need to present an ID, which can be a driver's license, passport, Rhode Island Voter ID Card or another form of identification listed here: vote.sos.ri.gov/Content/Pdfs/voter_id_information.pdf

When is the mail ballot application deadline?

The deadline to apply for a mail ballot to vote in the primary is October 18th. Voters can request a mail ballot by filling out this form and delivering it to the Board of Canvassers.

When is the early in-person voting period?

Early voting runs from Oct. 19 to Nov. 7.
