BOYS SOCCER

Chariho 7, Burrillville 0: Chris Niziolek and Ian Clark each scored twice, Mason Fortin had a goal on a penalty kick and Liam Currier and Ethan Knowles scored once each as Chariho blanked Burrillville.  Will Edmunds, Logan DeGiacomo and Drew Denoncour each had an assist for the Chargers. Trevor Crowley had five saves to record his first shutout of the season. Cayden Closson amassed 24 saves for the Broncos.

GIRL SOCCER

Chariho 3, East Greenwich 3: Trailing by three goals in the second half, the Chargers rallied back with Brooke KanaczetRyann Denoncour and Tessa Azzinaro all scoring in the final 15 minutes and the Division I contest ended in a tie. EG's Ella Kauffman scored twice and Gracie Kauffman and Abby Lewis each had 2 assists.

Mt. Hope 3, Smithfield 0Caitlyn Terceiro and Hannah Rezendes each had a goal and an assist, Thea Jackson scored a goal and Abigail Razzino added a helper as the Huskies finished the regular season with a win and a record of 10-5-4. MH will be the third seed in the D-1 playoffs next week. Emily Moran had 5 saves for her third shutout of the season. Nicole Nunes had 12 saves for the Sentinels, who also will also see action in the playoffs.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Bay View 3, Tiverton 0 (25-20, 25-17, 25-23): Sparked by the play of Gianna Paolino (24 assists, 2 aces), Jackie Buffery (4 kills, 6 aces) and Maggie McKitchen (7 kills), the Bengals rolled to victory over the Tigers and finished the regular season at 13-3 in Division III. Claudia Lapointe had 3 kills, 3 blocks and 2 aces for Tiverton.

Scituate 3, Woonsocket 0 (25-18, 25-11, 25-16): Victoria Geisser recorded nine aces, Rhiannon Walsh had 8 aces and Kailey St. Pierre and Karissa Cotoia combined for 17 digs as the Spartans finished the regular season with a win in Division III. Scituate improves to 12-3 and will enter the D-3 playoffs as the No. 2 seed.
