RHONJ: Louie has investigated 'Real Housewives' cast on eve of wedding to Teresa

Louie Ruelas apparently has the receipts.

Louie, fiance of Teresa Giudice, had a private investigator delve into the background of the cast members of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.” That bombshell was dropped at the closing of the Tuesday, May 16, season finale on Bravo.

“I'm not talking about gossip,” Louie said. “Bo Dietl, who's like one of the most famous private investigators in the country — one of my best friends — brought me information on each person in this group. There's so much more. I didn't get to where I am by accident. I surround myself with really successful people.”

Dietl, a former New York City police detective, told the Wall Street Journal in 2017 that he was tabbed by the network to investigate Fox employees who had alleged sexual harassment. (Dietl was a regular guest on the Fox News Channel.)

It was not clear if Louie asked Dietl to investigate the cast of “RHONJ,” or if Dietl took the task upon himself.

Teresa was asked what else she knew about the Deitl investigation from a producer.

“I don't know anything,” she said.

Dolores Catania seemed perplexed by the concept.

“I don't know but I don't understand why he's talking to a private investigator,” Dolores said. “I don't understand.”

Louie used the Dietl card during a multi-pronged fight at Dolores and her boyfriend Paulie Connell's Edgewater townhouse party.

“Bo Dietl knows (blank) about everybody in this room,” Louie yelled.

The rumor of Melissa Gorga kissing a guy who wasn't husband Joey Gorga in the back of a car came to a head when Danielle Cabral told Melissa the cast was about talking about it. Danielle heard it from Jennifer Aydin, who heard it from Margaret Josephs who heard it from — well, that's not entirely clear.

Voices were raised, fighting ensued, tears were shed — and the fallout is that Joey and Melissa will definitely not be going to Teresa and Louie's wedding, even though Joey is Teresa's brother.

The wedding, which happened last August in real life, will take place on the show during next week's “Teresa Gets Married” special.

“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” airs 9 p.m. Tuesdays on Bravo.
