Rhythm of the Dance is a popular Irish Dance production that brings a new era of Irish entertainment as they tour the world. In addition to bringing Irish entertainment around the world, the performances celebrate Irish culture and the Emerald Isle in the 21st century through the use of creative choreography, step dancers, first rate Irish singers and musicians, as well as using current stage technology for centuries old storytelling.

The dancers of Rhythm of the Dance are some of the world’s most accomplished Irish dancers, and through the years national, international, and world champion dancers have been a part of their show. During shows, the dancers’ dedication to Irish dance can be seen, as well as the control and grace needed for the moves to the point that some viewers state that the dancers make it look easy.

However what is not shown is the commitment that the dancers put in to achieve what is required of Rhythm of the Dance dancers when they are not on stage. Through the hours of practice and rehearsals, working and reworking routines, and the affects of tours, the dancers get to know one another’s dance styles and timing, and also form lifelong friendships. This allows the dancers to perform the rhythmic performances that are enjoyed by their audiences.

The Rhythm of the Dance shows combine forms of Irish dance such as Step, Set, Old Style Step, and Sean-nós, to bring a new era to Irish entertainment by merging traditional elements with current stage technology. Their shows are recognized internationally as one of the world’s busiest and most popular Irish step dance shows.
