PROVIDENCE, RI — Rhode Island officials handed out kudos to retail, fitness and hospitality businesses in the state that earned a perfect score during recent coronavirus compliance inspections.
The RI Department of Health said that more than 250 businesses received the perfect score from the RI COVID-19 Enforcement Task Force when it came to employees wearing face masks, signage, capacity limits and maintaining social distancing between customers.
A list of the businesses can be found here.
"The business owners and employees throughout Rhode Island who are proactively implementing systems and practices to prevent the spread of COVID-19 absolutely should be applauded," said Director of Health Nicole Alexander-Scott. "The business community has a major role to play in helping keep our communities healthy and safe. These business owners are setting examples that should be followed throughout the state."
