Rib Mountain Starbucks closes temporarily due to staffing shortage

RIB MOUNTAIN – The closure of the Starbucks location at 225428 Rib Mountain Drive is temporary, a spokesperson for the coffee shop told the Wausau Daily Herald Tuesday night.

The cafe closed Monday due to a staffing shortage at the location, she said. A reopening date has not been set.

Two other Starbucks locations in the Wausau area — 309 E. Kort St. in Rothschild and 306 S. 17th Ave. in Wausau — remain open.

The Rib Mountain coffee shop has been open since March 2007.
