Ricardo Pepi nets goal in PSV’s win over Volendam

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – San Elizario’s Ricardo Pepi collected his fifth goal of the 2023-24 Eredivisie season after Pepi scored in PSV Eindhoven’s 5-1 win over Volendam at Kras Stadion on Sunday.
Pepi, who started the game on the bench, subbed in during the 77th minute of the match. About a minute later, Pepi netted the club’s fourth goal of the match after a right footed shot into the bottom left corner of the goal.

That was Pepi’s fifth goal in Eredivisie play and his seventh across all competitions with PSV. Pepi’s two other goals have come in Champions League play.
With the win on Sunday, Pepi and PSV improved to 19-2-0 and hold the top spot in the league standings. PSV resumes Eredivisie play on Friday, Feb. 16 when it takes on Heracles Almelo. After that match, Pepi and PSV will take on Dortmund, a club out of the German Bundesliga, in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 first leg on Tuesday, Feb. 20.
