Rich Scarcella: Exeter's Logan Reber is selected Berks Player of the Year in boys volleyball

May 31—Senior setter Logan Reber, who led Exeter to the Berks League Division I title, has been selected the BCIAA Player of the Year in boys volleyball in a vote by the league coaches.

Gov. Mifflin's Ryan Stubler was named Coach of the Year after he guided the Mustangs to their first league championship since 2016 in his second season as head coach.

Reber, who's committed to Lancaster Bible College, and Exeter sophomore outside hitter Gaige Gabriel were repeat selections on the seven-player All-Berks team.

Also voted to the team were Gov. Mifflin junior middle hitter Tyler Knoop, Gov. Mifflin junior outside hitter Aidan Young, Wilson senior libero Luca Marchio, Wilson senior outside hitter Eric Makosch and Brandywine Heights sophomore Brayden Ambruster.
