Richard Bland College: Delta Omega Chapter presents 'All White Affair: Jazz in the Grove'

PRINCE GEORGE — The ladies of the Delta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. invite the public to "All White Affair: Jazz in the Grove." The event supports programs that benefit the Petersburg community, scholarships and service.

Wear white attire while you experience an afternoon of live jazz performances at Richard Bland College of William and Mary on Sunday, August 20 from 3 - 7 p.m. It was originally scheduled for June 24, however Mother Nature wasn't happy with that date. The jazz concert in the beautiful, pecan grove will be hosted by Anton Scott.

Enjoy great music to support a worthy cause. The Soul Chronicles of Rodney Stith will be the feature band, and DJ J-Roc will also be on site to enhance the experience. Indulge in delicious offerings from food trucks and vendors.

"All White Affair: Jazz in the Grove" brings together members of the community and supporters of the sorority for a night of fun, food and shopping.

Through this event, Delta Omega Chapter aims to make a positive impact on the community by supporting various programs that promote education, health and social justice. Concert proceeds provide scholarships and services to individuals and families in need.

The $60 general admission tickets may be purchased at eventbrite.com. No outside alcohol is permitted.

Richard Bland College of William & Mary is located at 11301 Johnson Road in Prince George. Remember to wear elegant white attire and take a lawn chair to ensure you will be comfortable during the event.
