RICHARD JOHNSON: Sylvester Stallone was already plotting an escape from his marriage

Sylvester Stallone was apparently planning to leave his wife Jennifer Flavin long before she filed for divorce reportedly because he covered the tattoo of her lovely face on his right shoulder with that of Butkus, his bull mastiff from “Rocky.”

“When you replace your wife’s beautiful face with a dog, it’s over,” one source said.

Stallone sold his Beverly Park mansion in California to Adele for $58 million earlier this year, and bought a $35 million estate in Palm Beach, Fla.

Florida has a strong Homestead Exemption law, which O.J. Simpson and Donald Trump supposedly moved south to enjoy. The law protects debtors from losing their homes, no matter how lavishly they live.

Stallone, 76, dumped Flavin, 54, and dated Janice Dickinson and Angie Everhart before they got back together, married, and had three daughters.

Flavin said 30 years ago, “I can’t change the way he is. Still, he’s not a cheating dog every day of the week. We spend five out of seven nights together, so I don’t know where he’d find the time.”

The producers of “My Son Hunter,” the movie about President Biden’s “drug-fueled, sex-crazed” son, sound sympathetic ― although you wouldn’t know it from the trailer, which makes the Bidens look like the Gottis.

Though the scripted film is promoted with a warning, “This motion picture contains sex, prostitution, drugs, cronyism, money laundering, more sex …,” producer Ann McElhinney sounded softhearted recounting how Hunter’s mother was killed in a car wreck, and how his older brother Beau died of cancer.

“The guy has his demons,” she told me. “We humanize Hunter.”

The movie, directed by Robert Davi (best known as an actor in “The Goonies” and “Die Hard”), debuts Sept. 7, streamed by the right-wing news organization Breitbart.

British actor Laurence Fox plays Hunter. Gina Carano (“The Mandalorian”) plays a hardworking Secret Service agent who reminds viewers, “This is not a true story, except for all the facts.”

In the film, Hunter finds himself doing all the wrong things in all the wrong places with all the wrong people, when he meets a naïve young stripper played by Emma Gojkovic.

Though the filmmakers claim they were rebuffed by the Secret Service when they kayaked past Hunter’s house in Malibu, “I’m sure he’s going to watch it,” McElhinney said.

Leah Remini was not invited to Jennifer Lopez’s wedding to Ben Affleck, although the two women have been best friends since Marc Anthony introduced them in 2004.

Leah being a Brooklyn native and Jenny from the block being from the Bronx, it was a natural connection, but religion got in the way.

The father of the bride, David Lopez, has been a Scientologist for 35 years.

Remini, a star on the CBS sitcom “The King of Queens,” left Scientology in 2013 and became its biggest detractor with books, documentaries and a podcast.

The official practice of “disconnection” prohibits members from seeing anyone who is considered “suppressive” to Scientology.

About 70 guests attended Lopez’s three-day wedding to Affleck in Georgia.

In the same vein, the groom’s brother Casey Affleck said he did not attend because he was taking his son to soccer practice. “Sounds like they have the same publicist,” said one source.

At least Casey sent out sweet congratulations to the couple on social media, while Remini has been quiet on the subject.

“The Unexpected Danny Green” is a new novel about a Black prize fighter whose exploits take him from Mississippi to Manhattan and Hollywood.

“The saga of Danny Green is the kind of ‘real life’ story you can’t make up … But I did,” said its author Paul R. Friedman, an entertainment industry executive.

Green is interviewed by Howard Cosell and Howard Stern, writes a book, stars in Nike’s “Just Do It” campaign, and finally makes a stunning debut on the big screen.

“While Danny’s story is distinctly his own, I’m hopeful that everyone who reads this book will see a part of themselves in him and be inspired by his rise from the humblest of origins to the pinnacles of success,” Friedman said.

The author is already anticipating a TV miniseries.

Tom Cruise’s divorce lawyer Marilyn Chinitz joined State Sens. Anthony Palumbo and George Borrello Thursday for a Senate hearing to discuss passing Karilyn’s Law.

The proposed legislation is named after Karilyn Montanti, a senior victim of the guardianship system, whose daughter Christine Montanti has been denied the right to an evidentiary hearing, which would allow her to visit her mother.

Peter Max’s daughter Libra Max is also scheduled to speak about what she says is her pop-art icon father’s abusive guardianship.

The Marilyn Monroe movie “Blonde” starring Ana de Armas as the tragic bombshell and Adrien Brodie as her husband, writer Arthur Miller, premieres on Sept. 23.

To celebrate the film, Carlton Fine Arts will present The Blonde Bombshell exhibition featuring Monroe-inspired works by Andy Warhol, Mr. Brainwash and DeVon.

The show opens on Aug. 31 at Charles Saffati’s Madison Ave. gallery.
