Richard A. Zuber Realty announces top performers for 2022

Apr. 23—Richard A. Zuber Realty held the company's annual progress luncheon recently at Yellow House Hotel and Restaurant in Amity Township to announce the top producers for 2022.

But first, Zuber made sure the entire group was in good spirits.

"I like to have fun," Zuber said, "so this year I hired comedian Chris Coccia to entertain us as we finished lunch. I saw many smiles throughout his routine and heard lots of hearty laughter. There's nothing healthier than laughing with friends.

"Plus, it's good to be able to get together again to socialize with one another. Our agents are back in the office to serve their clients, providing immediate attention to anyone who walks into the office."

Zuber credited those in charge of each of his divisions. In Zuber Insurance, he congratulated JoCarol Zuber and Colette Moyer for reaching "contingency," an achievement that earns the company an award.

Zuber acknowledged Jack Mueller, Susan Martin of the TriCounty+ Appraisal Division and member of the support staff Diane Evanco, noting that the team offers services in times of their clients' difficult moments: matters involving estate sales and couples dissolving their marriages.

The Property Management Division demands flexibility in taking care of clients —many who, since COVID and a struggling economy, have sold their homes and are now renting.

"There are some tough calls," Zuber said.

Associate broker Connie Dolansky and Paula Babb, a member of Zuber Realty's support staff, are adept at handling the issues.

Always eager to stress the value of his support staff, Zuber said that unlike some businesses, if you call into the office, a person will answer the call. The personal touch is important.

"There are no automatic answering machines taking calls," he said. "People want to talk to people, not machines."

Zuber stressed the importance of providing quality experiences for clients; and, in honoring the top producers, he stressed how each of them provided quality in their transactions.

Kathy Morcrette, as Top Producer for 2022, prides herself in delivering excellent service — professional, personal and patient — always putting her clients' interests first.

As a severe lack of homes were available for sale in 2022, Morcrette's ability to get her clients successfully to settlement and into a home is a testimony to her dedication and patience.

Brian Gilbert demonstrates quality in his communication skills as he constantly works to connect with his clients — new and return clients — and continuously analyzes ways in which he and the company can improve service.

Zuber noted that agent Gary Pace had his best year. His previous work in the community — as a minister, social media advisor and maintenance crew for the Pottstown Cluster of Religious Communities Outreach Center, handyman and his work as chaplain/singer/guitarist for Pottstown VNA's hospice program or with friends around a campfire — continues to make him a go-to realtor among the groups he's served.

Vanessa Deskie demonstrates quality in her work behind the scenes to keep her clients updated. She's tuned into their particular needs. Always the professional, Deskie keeps abreast of the latest practices through research provided by real estate magazines and journals.

Zuber credited Jody Dolansky for her professional handling of clients. Offering information about the process and guiding them through the steps decreases her clients' anxiety.

As chairwoman for the organization's Community Outreach Committee, Dolansky develops relationships with members of the community who know her as involved and committed.

Zuber encouraged his agents and support staff to read a book titled "No Barriers: A Blind Man's Journey to Kayak the Grand Canyon." A true story, the author, Erik Weihenmayer, with Buddy Levy, recounted that he'd lost his vision as a child and then lost his mother who was, for him, while growing up, his eyes.

The author did not let his blindness and loss be a barrier to his living a full life. He was able to climb Mount Everest and kayak the Colorado River because people helped him navigate the tough parts of his life. Today, he reaches out to people with barriers to convince them to get over whatever barriers they face.

Zuber emphasized that family and community are integral in providing support —something Zuber provides to those in his family and community.

"We all have things — barriers, I guess, that we all just have to get over," he said. "And with the help of family and friends, we, too, can live uncommon, uplifting lives with stories that inspire others."
