Richmond's annual Celebration of Lights packs plenty of holiday cheer
RICHMOND, Ind. – The City of Richmond Parks & Recreation Department kicks off the holiday season with the annual Celebration of Lights festival at Glen Miller Park Saturday.
The Celebration of Lights festival will be held from 6-9 p.m., and community members will find a variety of ways to join in the festivities:
Take in the luminaries in the park by foot or horse-drawn wagon
Share Christmas wish lists with Santa and participate in crafts in Santa’s workshop, located in the Parks Administrative Office
Enjoy an outdoor movie with hot cocoa and cookies
Nonprofits can reserve and decorate a shelter for a chance at a $250 prize donated by Danielle Klein Relator and The Hereforyou Team.
Interested nonprofits can call 765-983-PARK to learn more.
