What’s it like to ride the Miami-Orlando Brightline? Take a virtual tour of train trip
Brightline trains are now going from Miami to Orlando every day.
We took the first ride on Sept. 22. The route started in downtown Miami and stopped at stations in Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton and West Palm Beach before arriving at the Orlando airport station 235 miles and about four hours later.
Here’s a look at what that trip looked like:
Brightline tickets for Miami-Orlando route
▪ Brightline offers the same amenities as the local South Florida route. The more expensive ticket, Premium, comes with complimentary food and drinks.
▪ One-way standard tickets, or SMART fares, to Orlando start at $79 for adults and are $39 for kids ages 2 to 12. Round-trip tickets will are available.

Background
Work on the Orlando route got started in June 2019. Leading up to the Orlando route debut, Brightline made history as the fastest train in the Southeast earlier this year, reaching speeds of 130 mph in a test run. However, the train only reaches up to 125 mph on its way to Orlando.
