Rides, pizza and food open up the first night of Gibsonburg Homecoming

GIBSONBURG - The Gibsonburg Homecoming Festival began Wednesday and continues through Saturday, June 24, in Williams Park.

Events continue Friday, June 23 at 5 p.m. with rides and entertainment. The Donut Mile is at 6 p.m. and Cake Walk at 8:30 p.m.

On Saturday, entertainment starts at noon and rides begin at 3 p.m. The parade is at 2 p.m. and the watermelon seed spitting contest is at 3 p.m. for children and 5:30 p.m. for adults. The festival wraps up Saturday with fireworks at 10 p.m.
