Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Reportedly “Want a Big Family” and Have Feelings About Baby #2

A$AP Rocky made headlines last May when he spoke in his Dazed interview about his hope to raise “open-minded children” with his girlfriend Rihanna. Some noted his use of the plural for kids. Now a source has made it clear to Us Weekly: Rihanna and Rocky want to have multiple children together, and their new son may get a little brother or sister on the sooner side.
A source said, “They want a big family for sure. Rihanna loved being pregnant and fully embraced her pregnancy body.” That source added that it wouldn’t be surprising if she had a second baby “sooner rather than later.”
Rocky and Rihanna are keeping their son’s name private for the time being. “Rihanna and A$AP have only shared the baby’s name with close family members,” the source explained. “They are keeping it a secret until they’re ready to share it with the world.”
Rihanna and Rocky have been just spending their time now with their baby. “They have some help but Rihanna has always said she wants to be hands-on,” the source explained. “She’s a very caring person…very nurturing.”
The source also touched on Rihanna and Rocky’s relationship status following Rocky’s April 2022 arrest in connection to a November 2021 shooting. Rocky was released on bail. “Rihanna and A$AP are staying strong as a couple,” the source said. “Their love for each other hasn’t changed. Rihanna is always supportive of him no matter what. They will get through his legal battle and will just come out stronger.”
In his Dazed interview, Rocky spoke about how he’s approaching fatherhood. “I will always remind my children to never lose their imagination, even as adults, no matter what. I actually love to watch cartoons—I’ve watched, like, Teletubbies, Blue’s Clues, Yo Gabba Gabba, Peppa Pig, and Baby Shark,” he said. “I hope to raise open-minded children. Not people who discriminate. And I’m not trying to describe a saint, but realistically, I just want a cool child with cool parents.”
He also touched on his and Rihanna’s couples dressing and how it really isn’t planned. “I think it’s just natural,” he said. “We happen to look good together naturally. You know, it would take a lot of work to have us forcefully match before we leave the house. Sometimes we match to a T or we just wear the same clothes. If I buy a shirt that she likes, I expect to get it stolen…but then I gotta steal it back.”
