Many celebrity friends took to the comments to show their excitement over the major news!

Justin Bieber wrote what we're all thinking: "The queen is back."

Katy Perry also chimed in, adding, "hell yeah."

Ashley Graham showed her excitement by commenting praising hand emojis and clapping emojis.

The NFL also tweeted the same photo, writing "Let’s GO - @rihanna @rocnation #SBLVII @AppleMusic @NFLonFOX"

In a statement made by Roc Nation founder Jay-Z, he said,  "Rihanna is a generational talent, a woman of humble beginnings who has surpassed expectations at every turn. A person born on the small island of Barbados who became one of the most prominent artists ever. Self-made in business and entertainment."

The upcoming Super Bowl halftime show will mark Rihanna's first performance since the 2018 Grammy Awards. The mom—who welcomed her first child with A$AP Rocky earlier this year—has also not released any new music in over two years, with the last album release in 2016. Needless to say, everyone is excited to see RiRi back on stage and in her element.

The 2023 Super Bowl will take place at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ on Feb 12.
