When Rihanna tackles a trend, she takes it to the next level. The musician-turned-mogul likes her fashions extreme—so when revisiting the logomania look of the early aughts this weekend, she did so with gusto. Stepping out for dinner in Los Angeles on Saturday, Rihanna wore a series of Christian Dior pieces covered in the brand’s classic oblique jacquard print. Her bucket hat, slip dress, and anorak were all adorned with the interlocking Ds, and she doubled up on the statement bags to push the look even further. With the iconic saddle bag worn crossbody, and a mini-version of the book tote in her hands, she was a walking advertisement for Dior’s attention-grabbing logo.

Of course, Rihanna and Dior go way back; since becoming the first black woman to serve as a Dior ambassador back in 2015, she’s often incorporated its signature monogram into her wardrobe, wearing accessories covered in the familiar print. But his weekend’s more exaggerated version of the look proved that classic patterns always resonate, whether they’re on a purse or splashed from head to toe—in her monochromatic monogram, Rihanna ensured all eyes were on her.
