Rise & Shine! I’m Scott Barrett, digital editor for The Daily News, and today is April 14, the 104th day of the year — 261 days remain in 2022. On this day in 1865, John Wilkes Booth shot Abraham Lincoln once in the head at Ford’s Theater in Washington. Booth fled the scene on horseback, and the president died the next day.
