ASHLEIGH BANFIELD: You've been offered congressional internships from Matt Gaetz and Madison Cawthorn among others. And I believe Paul Gosar was one of them. Do you plan on accepting these internships or getting back to private life and staying out of politics?

KYLE RITTENHOUSE: I do not plan on accepting any internships. I don't want to get involved in politics at all. I don't know-- I know nothing about it. And thank everybody for their support, but I'm good. Thank you.

ASHLEIGH BANFIELD: So no interest in carrying the banner for anyone in this highly polarized situation you found yourself in?

KYLE RITTENHOUSE: No. I don't have any interest in that, because to me, this case is about the right to self-defense, not where you fall left or right.
