River of Hail Gushes Down Melbourne Street As Storms Move Across Victoria
Hail pelted down over Melbourne as showers and storms rolled across parts of Victoria on Saturday, August 13.
This video, recorded by Gavin Craig Harris, shows hail coat the road and street on Normanby Avenue in the Melbourne suburb of Thornbury.
Speaking to Storyful, Harris said the storm looked innocuous at first but quickly turned into a downpour.
“First indication there was going to possibly be hail was when I noticed a few residents in a panic trying to move their cars off the street and undercover,” he added.
