River of Lava Flows From Cumbre Vieja Volcano as More Are Evacuated in Canary Islands

Lava flowing from the Cumbre Vieja volcano in La Palma, Spain, led to yet more evacuations on Thursday, October 14, bringing the total number of displaced people to over 7,000, according to reports.

Video shared on Twitter by the Canary Islands Volcanology Institute (Involcan) shows a glowing stream of molten lava descending upon the Las Manchas area, according to the institute’s tweet.
