In an interview with 1883 magazine, Westbrook confirmed that she "had to go back to filming shortly after our wedding", so the couple had a short but sweet honeymoon.

"My husband and I were determined to sneak away for at least a few days though, and we made the most of it," she said. "We went back to one of our favorite places on the Big Island of Hawaii, which was just easy and relaxing."

Westbrook met her husband at a class reunion for Harvard University.

2023 has been a big year for the star, with cast, crew and fans saying goodbye to Riverdale after seven seasons. The actress commemorated the ending of Riverdale in an Instagram post in June. Thanking viewers for their support over the years, she added: "I will always be grateful for my time as Tabitha Tate! It was an honor to bring her to life."

Riverdale airs on The CW in the US and will end with season 7. In the UK, you can stream via Netflix.
