Riverdale's Vanessa Morgan just shared pics of her TDF mermaid wedding dress

While Riverdale fans may have to wait a while to see one of their favourite on-screen couple's tie the knot (who else is gunning for a Jughead/Betty wedding?), one of the show's leading ladies, Vanessa Morgan, married longtime boyfriend Michael Kopech over the weekend.

Vanessa, who plays Toni Topaz, looked beyond beautiful as she walked down the aisle in an out-of-this-world beaded and lace mermaid gown.

The intricate dress, by Eisen Stein Bridal, featured a high neckline, long sleeves and a cinched in waist, finished with a super pretty train.

Vanessa opted for traditional touches for her big day, accessorising with a long white sweeping veil and two long diamond earrings in her right ear, which perfectly complement her giant pear-shaped engagement ring.

Although the star usually rocks pink hair on-screen, she kept things simple for her big day, styling her dark strands in long wavy curls. As for the makeup side of things, she opted for a subtle smokey eye and nude lip.

The actress' friend Alicia Dea Josipovic shared the sweet moment Vanessa walked down the aisle with her dad by her side and her now-hubby:

According to People, the intimate ceremony took place at the Historic Walton House in Homestead, Florida, with around 35 of their closest family and friends including Riverdale co-stars Madelaine Petsch and Camila Mendes, who posed up a storm in the photobooth:

Vanessa gave fans a sneak peak inside the wedding, posting images from the reception, saying: "My wedding was a fairytale. Getting emotional even thinking about it. Had a super intimate 35 person ceremony & wouldn’t have had it any other way. Thank you to my wedding planner @tamivarma for bringing my vision to life. & All the vendors who helped make this the best day of my life."

Talking to E! News about her big day, Vanessa said,"we both knew the first day we met that 'this is it' and I'm so excited that today officially starts our forever."

"Today, I vowed to love my best friend for a lifetime and it was a day spent with those we love in a room filled with endless love," the actress added. "I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him."

The couple got engaged around June last year in a romantic AF proposal under a waterfall at Mooney Falls:
