The Toledo softball team — making the drive east to play against Davis and Kittitas at Central Washington University in Ellensburg — needed just eight innings to dispatch both teams, beating Davis 19-2 and Kittitas 13-1 Saturday afternoon.

In the first game against Davis, a 19-2 win in three innings, the Riverhawks were led by Brynn Davis' strong game at the dish. Davis went 2 for 2 with three runs scored and four RBIs, and Mialeigh Jurica added a 2 for 2 line with two runs scored and three RBIs, with both hits doubles.

Payten Holter threw all three innings in the circle, allowing two earned runs on three hits and two walks with eight strikeouts.

Toledo's second contest against Kittitas lasted slightly longer, with the Riverhawks earning a five-inning 13-1 win on the college field.

Bethany Bowen got the start in the circle and gave up an unearned run on four hits and a walk with nine strikeouts. The senior also hit a bases-clearing double and scored a run.

Candace Clark went 4 for 4 with three runs scored on a pair of doubles and two RBIs, Abbie Marcil scored a trio of runs, and Quyn Norberg hit a 2-RBI double.

The Riverhawks will return to league play against Morton-White Pass for a doubleheader in Randle on April 10.
