CHRIS HOFFMAN: Kym, in North Sewickley Township, police are investigating an employee with the Riverside Beaver County School District. It is for possible inappropriate conduct with students. In a statement, the Riverside superintendent says the district reported the matter to police and is taking all steps required by law. He would not say what school the employee works for or their job. We do know that they are on paid administrative leave.

The district is cooperating with the police investigation. And according to officers, it started last week and they are still conducting interviews. So far they are receiving cooperation by everyone involved. No charges have yet been filed. And police don't have a timeline on when the investigation will wrap up. The district says it takes these matters seriously and will continue to do everything it can to protect its students.

Now, school leaders would not go into any details about what allegedly happened, as this is a personal matter. We will continue to follow this situation and bring you the latest both on air and online. Live in North Sewickley Township, Beaver County, Chris Hoffman, KDKA News.
