Riverside County Coronavirus Update: 38,131 Cases

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — There are 38,131 confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Riverside County as of Monday, according to newly released county health department data.

To date there have been 737 coronavirus-related deaths in the county, according to the Riverside University Health System.

As of Monday, there are currently 425 hospitalized COVID-19 patients, including 133 patients in intensive care. The county has tested 374,021 people and 19,699 patients have recovered.

The county has seen 2,505 coronavirus cases in long term care facilities patients and staff, with 1,534 patient cases and 971 staff cases.

The breakdown in county cases by age is as follows:

  • 0-4: 613 cases

  • 5-17: 2,533 cases

  • 18-39: 16,156 cases

  • 40-64: 13,401 cases

  • 65-79: 2,892 cases

  • 61-70: 800cases

  • 80+: 1,062 cases
