Kroger holds ribbon-cutting ceremony for new Riverside store

This morning Kroger held a grand opening for their new location in Riverside.

Kroger’s newest Riverside store is located at 601 Woodman Driver, where the old Kmart store used to be.

The new location opened at 7:00 a.m. for shoppers with a ribbon-cutting ceremony being held at 8:00 a.m., according to a representative from Kroger.

The representative added the $23 million store will include a Starbucks, Bistro seating area as well as Pick Up and Pharmacy services.

The first 300 customers will have a chance to win a $10 Kroger gift card today. Saturday the first 300 customers will receive free Mikesell’s Chips.
