RM From BTS Appears to Have Dyed His Hair Again
Many beauty mysteries have puzzled the internet over the years. From Kaia Gerber's mind-bending magazine cover to faceless makeup that continues to haunt my every dream, optical illusions have been a continuous source of social-media division. And for the latest confusing color moment, fans of BTS are uncertain whether RM's latest hair color is silver, green, blonde, or maybe all three.
Much like the great debate that continues to surround that famous dress, RM, AKA Namjoon, has again divided the internet. Shortly after debuting an icy-blue dye job, the singer changed his look, unveiling a brand-new color during the group's January 19 performance in Singapore. As pointed out by Elite Daily, some observant fans noted that RM — who has frequently worn a rainbow of hair colors in the past — appears to have dyed his hair gray or — wait, is it green?
Twitter user @BTSworldwide posed the important question on social media, writing, "DO YOU ALL SEE NAMJOON'S HAIR? TELL ME WHICH COLOR OMG." Responses have ranged from green to blonde, and one user even compared it to that infamous dress, writing, "The Namjoon hair debate is getting bigger than that stupid dress."
As of writing, it appears that the fans remain unsure of what color RM's hair actually is, but since the K-Pop group is known for taking daring fashion and beauty risks, it’s likely that RM will debut another new color soon. In the meantime, I'll continue to debate with myself whether it was "Laurel" or “Yanny."
