RNC uses Hillary Clinton's 'Stronger Together' slogan for Trump
The Republican National Committee posted a graphic on its official Twitter feed Monday night that borrowed a line from President Trump’s rally speech in El Paso, Texas.
“We’re only getting stronger together,” the graphic read.
But, as Twitter observers were quick to notice, it was also borrowed from Hillary Clinton, whose 2016 presidential campaign slogan was “Stronger Together.” (Clinton and her running mate, Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va., also co-authored a book of the same name.)
Clinton noticed it, too, mocking the GOP in a tweet Tuesday morning.
“Now copy my plan on health care, a fairer tax system, and voting rights,” Clinton tweeted.

RNC spokesman Steve Guest fired back, telling The Hill that “when you lose your campaign, you lose your monopoly on any slogans.”
“As we saw at his packed rally, President Trump continues to unite the American people behind his pro-border security agenda,” Guest added.
Of course, it’s not the first time a campaign slogan has been recycled in support of Trump’s candidacy.
Trump’s own “Make America Great Again” slogan for his 2016 campaign was lifted directly from Ronald Reagan’s 1980 presidential bid.
