Here are the road closures for the Ice Cream Run 5K in Downtown Cincinnati this weekend

On Saturday, the annual Ice Cream Run will have participants racing through Downtown Cincinnati, with proceeds from the 5K supporting charities around the country, especially children's healthcare facilities.

There will be a few road closures in place through Saturday morning.

The following streets in the area will close beginning at 8:30 a.m. Saturday and remain closed until approximately 11 a.m.

  • Mehring Way: Closed between W. Pete Rose Way and E. Pete Rose Way. Mehring Way between E. Pete Rose Way and Johnny Bench Way will close at 7 a.m. for start line staging.

  • W. Pete Rose Way: Eastbound closed between Gest Street and Central Avenue.

  • Central Avenue: Closed between W. Pete Rose Way and Mehring Way.

  • Elm Street: Closed south of Freedom Way.

  • Joe Nuxhall Way: Closed south of Freedom Way.

  • Johnny Bench Way: Closed.

Drivers are reminded to use caution around the event site and seek alternative routes if possible.
