Those traveling to and near the San Bernardino County Courthouse or City Hall in Victorville will encounter road closures this week.

Those traveling to and near the San Bernardino County courthouse or Victorville City Hall will encounter road closures this week.

City officials said the Civic Area Paving Rehabilitation Project will close various streets from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day from Wednesday through Sunday.

Motorists are advised that various road closures will occur at the following locations:

Thursday, Sept. 14

  • Anacapa Road – Park Avenue to Park Avenue East: Half road closure.

  • Borego Road– Palmdale Road to Seneca Road: Half road closure.

  • Kimberly Drive – 520 feet east of Arlette Drive to Arlette Drive: Closed.

  • Park Avenue – Civic Drive to Seneca Road: Half road closure.

  • Park Avenue east – Anacapa Road to Park Avenue: Half road closure.

  • Ramona Avenue – Amargosa Road to Kentwood Boulevard: Half road closure.

  • Ramona Avenue – Civic Drive to Kentwood Boulevard: Half road closure.

Friday, Sept. 15

  • Anacapa Road – Park Avenue to Park Avenue east: Half road closure.

  • Borego Road – Palmdale Road to Seneca Road: Half road closure.

  • Kimberly Drive – 520 feet east of Arlette Drive to Amargosa Road: Closed.

  • Park Avenue – Civic Drive to Seneca Road: Half road closure.

  • Park Avenue east – Anacapa Road to Park Avenue: Half road closure.

Saturday Sept. 16

  • Anacapa Road – Amargosa Road to Borego Road: Half road closure.

  • Anacapa Road – Amargosa Road to Park Avenue: Half road closure.

  • Bonanza Road – Amargosa Road to Borego: Half road closure.

  • Borego Road – Anacapa to Palmdale: Half road closure.

  • Cholame Road – Amargosa Road to Borego Road: Half road closure.

  • Dos Palmas Road – Amargosa Road to Borego Road: Half road closure.

  • McArt Road – Palmdale Road to Seneca Road: Half road closure.

  • Tamarack Road – Amargosa Road to Park Avenue: Half road closure.

Sunday Sept. 17

  • Anacapa Road – Amargosa Road to Borego Road: Half road closure.

  • Anacapa Road – Park Avenue to Park Avenue East: Half road closure.

  • Bonanza Road – Amargosa Road to Park Avenue: Half road closure.

  • Cholame Road – Amargosa Road to Park Avenue: Half road closure.

  • Dos Palmas Road – Amargosa Road to Borego Road: Half road closure.

  • McArt Road – Palmdale Road to Seneca Road: Half road closure.

  • Park Avenue east – Anacapa Road to Park Avenue: Half road closure.

  • Ramona Drive – Amargosa Road to Kentwood Avenue: Half road closure.

  • Ramona Drive – Kentwood Boulevard to Civic Drive: Half road closure.

  • Sage Street – California Avenue to Civic Drive: Full Road Closure.

  • Tamarack Drive – Amargosa Road to Park Avenue: Closed.

Traffic control will be in place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. For full road closures, motorists must utilize alternate routes. Detours will be in place, city officials stated.

Those who must travel in the area of this road improvement project are advised to use extreme caution and to obey all posted traffic signs, devices, and personnel.
