Here are all the road closures for the Queen Bee Half Marathon, happening this weekend

Runners and walkers will take over Downtown and several other neighborhoods this weekend for the races and events of the Queen Been Half Marathon.

The half marathon will be on Saturday, Oct. 8 and begin at 7:30 a.m. The half marathon route begins on E. Central Parkway in Pendleton, then travels through Eden Park, East Walnut Hills, Hyde Park, Mount Lookout, Columbia Tusculum and adjacent to Mount Adams before racers will reach the finish line at Sawyer Point Park.

If you're planning to be around the neighborhoods where race goes through this weekend, be aware: Ahead of the Queen Bee Half Marathon, a number of roads will close to accommodate for racers. Some will be closing and reopening at different times for the half marathon and the four miler.

  • Court Street, from Eggleston Avenue to Reedy Street: Closing at 4 a.m., reopening around 10 a.m.

  • Eggleston Avenue, from Court Street to Reading Road: Closing at 4 a.m., reopening around 10 a.m.

  • Reading Road northbound, from Eggleston Avenue to E. 13th Street: Closing at 4 a.m., reopening around 11 a.m.

  • Reading Road northbound, from E. 13th Street to Elsinore Place: Closing at 7 a.m., reopening around 10 a.m.

  • Elsinore Place, from Reading Road to Gilbert Avenue: Closing at 7:15 a.m., reopening around 10 a.m.

  • Gilbert Avenue, from Elsinore Place to Eden Park Drive: Closing at 7:20 a.m., reopening around 10 a.m.

  • Eden Park Drive, from Gilbert Avenue to St. Paul Drive: Closing around 7:20 a.m., reopening around 10 a.m.

  • Lake Drive to Eden Park Drive: Closing around 7:20 a.m., opening around 10 a.m.

  • Eden Park Drive, northbound from St. Paul Drive to Victory Parkway: Closing around 7:30 a.m., reopening around 8:30 a.m.

  • E. McMillan Street, eastbound from Victory Parkway to Woodburn Avenue: Closing around 7:30 a.m., reopening around 8:30 a.m.

  • Woodburn Avenue, from E. McMillan Street to William Howard Taft Road: Closing around 7:30 a.m., reopening around 8:30 a.m.

  • Madison Road, eastbound from Woodburn Avenue to Observatory Avenue: Closing around 7:40 a.m., opening around 9:15 a.m.
