A hotheaded motorist faces attempted-murder charges after he shot a Florida man in the stomach during a road-rage fight in Queens, cops said Wednesday.

Champ Richardson, 36, was driving a Nissan Altima last Thursday when he and the 32-year-old victim, who was driving a Chevrolet HHR, stopped in traffic on Queens Blvd. near 65th Place in Rego Park, police said.

The two men started arguing, and the Chevrolet driver got out of his SUV, walked to the Altima and punched Richardson in the face, cops said. Richardson, who was armed, pulled out a gun and shot the other driver in the belly, police said.

Cops arrested Richardson Tuesday. He was arraigned on attempted-murder, assault, weapon possession and reckless endangerment charges and ordered held on $75,000 cash bail or $200,000 bond.
