ACADIANA (KLFY) — Heavy rain in the area is causing flooding, which is resulting in some roads closing. Here is a list of road closures as reported by officials. This will be updated as more information becomes available.

  • Dufilho Road, southeast of Lawtell

  • Wisdom Road, Opelousas

  • Section of Hwy. 190 near Wisdom Road

  • Blake Street, Opelousas

  • Charles Burr Lane, Opelousas

  • Austin Road, Opelousas

  • Hwy. 361 at Hwy. 71 – High Water

  • Hwy. 357 at Hwy. 190 – High Water

  • Hwy. 167 at Texas Eastern – High Water

  • 2000 block of Hwy. 749 – High Water – (Water going into homes)

  • Lawler at Austin – High Water

  • Hwy. 182 at Smith Lane – High Water

  • Multiple areas of Grand Prairie Hwy. between Washington and Hwy. 363 – Completely Flooded

  • Hwy. 35 at Noel Road – Impassable

  • Hwy 190./ W. Landry Street (Near Yambilee Bldg) – Completely Flooded

  • Hwy. 358 at Hwy. 35 – Flooded

  • St. Berchman Drive is completely submerged

  • Albert Road off of Daniel Meche Road – Completely Flooded (water going into homes)

  • Little J B Road off of Grand Prairie Hwy. – Completely Flooded – Impassable

  • Fontenot Road, Vasseur Lane and McMillan Road off of Prairie Ronde Hwy. – High Water

  • Nursing Home Road in Palmetto – Flooded
