EVANSVILLE — Every year Vanderburgh County holds a roads hearing to discuss county-managed roads that are in need of attention.

A final road list will be determined for 2023, and final estimates will be done at that time.

Here are the roads presented to Vanderburgh County Commissioners. The presentation includes roads from resident requests and county staff inspections.

Awarded 2023 Community Crossings Projects

Community Crossings grant money will help with paving at Hogue Road between Peerless Road and the railroad tracks east of Rosenberger Avenue.

It will also help pave New Harmony Road between University Parkway and Diamond Avenue.

Community Crossings pays 50% of the cost.

Bid Amount: $1,115,388.50

Project Completion: June 20

Applied for Community Crossings Application

The county applied for milling and resurfacing Green River Road between Heckel Road and Millersburg Road.

Grant application amount: $590,023.62

Awards are typically announced in April.
