Roanoke Police continuing search for suspects in August homicide on Westside Blvd NW

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — The Roanoke Police Department has announced they are still looking for information regarding the homicide of 19-year-old D’Angelo Bond that occurred on Westside Blvd NW in August 2023.

According to police, around 12:50 am on Wednesday, August 1, officers received information that D’Angelo Bond had been shot on the 400 block of Westside Blvd NW. When they arrived on the scene, Bond was found lying outside of a vehicle with serious gunshot wounds.

Bond was taken to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for treatment where he later died of his injuries.

Investigators say there have yet to be any arrests made in connection to the case and are asking the community to come forward with any information they may have regarding the incident.
