The list of quarterbacks near the top of the AFC makes for some heated debates, all of which happen to include Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.

Roughly one week into free agency, former pro passer Robert Griffin III managed to generate enough waves to divert the attention of fans.

Appearing on “Get Up,” RG3 ranked Burrow fourth in the AFC behind Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson — but ahead of Aaron Rodgers (who still technically remains in the NFC for now).

In a follow-up tweet, RG3 cited Burrow’s weapons for the reasoning behind the ranking, saying no quarterback on the list had weapons comparable to what the Bengals boast around Burrow:

As always, discrediting a quarterback because of the way a team built around him isn’t the best course of action. In Burrow’s case, he’s dramatically improved each year, eliminating weaknesses (remember when arm strength was a concern and when he took too many sacks?) and still having great games while Ja’Marr Chase and others were out.

This isn’t the first ranking to catch the eyes of Bengals fans this offseason, with others ranking Burrow much higher.
