Robert Karlsson, Jeff Maggert tied for lead at Sanford International

Robert Karlsson was tied for the lead Saturday at the end of the second day of the Sanford International on the heels of an eight-under par performance in the first round.

Karlsson shot a two-under par 68 Saturday. On Friday, he shot a 62. Despite the higher score Saturday, he's tied for the lead with Jeff Maggert, who shot four-under par 66 on Saturday.

Rocco Mediate, who won the Sanford International in 2019, is one stroke back, while five are tied for third two strokes back, including Ernie Els and Steve Stricker, who won the inaugural event in 2018.

John Daly withdrew from the tournament Saturday after shooting a 68 Friday.

The final round is Sunday starting at 10:15 a.m. Gates open at 7 a.m.
