Actor Robert Pattinson was spotted outside St George’s Hall in Liverpool on October 12 as filming for the upcoming movie ‘The Batman’ recommenced following delays because of the COVID-19 shutdown.

A local student captured the footage showing the actor on set after he returned to his starring role as Bruce Wayne/Batman. The film’s cast and crew along with a prop police vehicle can also be seen in the video.

The Liverpool Echo reported that parts of the city had been transformed to resemble Gotham City for the production. Filming was supposed to take place throughout March but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Initially, movie extras were sourced locally but were later deemed ineligible in favor of London-based talent due to coronavirus restrictions. The London extras will be isolating in a local hotel for the duration of the shoot.

Speaking to local media, the film’s director, Matt Reeves, said, “Everyone who is working as extras is being kept close together so that we’re not introducing new people to the production.” Credit: Anonymous via Storyful
