Fans have been looking forward to the long-awaited marriage ceremony between Robin Roberts and fiancee, Amber Laign. The Good Morning America host announced earlier in the week that the wedding will be in one week, confirming that the day of her nuptials will be September 8. The two have even picked up their marriage license, which they posted on the eve of their wedding. Wedding bells are ringing and it seems that everyone is excited to celebrate their union!

Leading up to the wedding, GMA invited planner JoAnn Gregoli from Elegant Occasions by JoAnn Gregoli to share insight on the lavish plans of the wedding. According to her, the wedding will be dreamy and romantic. She explained an aesthetic of a floral wonderland with pink and cream flower walls, gold candles and pink and peach roses throughout the venue. The wedding and its celebration is set to be a spectacle of opulence.

The most recent wedding that everyone can’t stop talking about is the union between actors KJ Smith and Skyh Black. Black is known for her role on BET’s “Sistas.” The two wed in Malibu, where they had their first date. Some names that joined them on their big day include Tyler Perry, Eva Marcille, Lil Rel Howry as well as Devale and Khadeen Ellis.

Slutty Vegan founder, Pinky Cole married her longtime partner, Derrick Hayes in Atlanta this year. The holy matrimony was officiated by the “This Is How We Do It” artist, Montell Jordan. The night was full of lavish decor and experiences but one of the most eye-catching aspects of the event was Cole’s dress. Her custom made Milano Di Rouge gown was a first for the luxury apparel brand’s owner, Milano Harris

Simone Biles had not one but two wedding ceremonies this year. She first married her new hubby, Jonathan Owens, at an intimate ceremony inside a Texas courthouse in April. The two then turned things up a few notches by having a luxurious ceremony with a much larger guest list in Cabo San Lucas just a month later.  A live cellist performed as she walked down the aisle. Biles also recalled that the most magical moment was when there were whales jumping out of the water as the ceremony started.
