Robin Williams's Former Home Is Listed for $7.25 million

A home in Tiburon, California, owned by comedian and actor Robin Williams before his tragic death in 2014 is now on the market for $7.25 million. The single-story, 6,517-square-foot residence is located right on San Francisco Bay, which allows for plenty of beautiful views.

All six bedrooms have adjoining bathrooms, and there's also a seventh bathroom for guests. The exterior of the house is Mediterranean in style, with stucco sides and a red terra-cotta roof. The interior appears much more traditional, with a mixture of hardwood and carpeted floors, crown molding throughout the house, and built-in bookshelves flanking a fireplace in the large living room, which includes two separate sitting areas. Adjacent to the living room is a formal dining room, with a unique, artistic light fixture; this room flows into a large kitchen, where there is an island with seating, plus a separate dining area. Elsewhere in the home is a wood-paneled den with another fireplace, currently furnished with a desk and a cozy-looking couch.

Nearly every room in the home features large windows with views of the water, and multiple rooms open out to the waterfront back patio. The outdoor space lacks grass, but boasts a sitting area, dining area, and uniquely shaped pool and spa, which partially extends underneath an awning off of the house for a grotto-inspired feel.

Williams, who was beloved for his roles in films like Mrs. Doubtfire, Aladdin, Dead Poets Society, and countless others, grew up in the San Francisco area. He purchased the home in 2008 for $4.05 million, and his wife, Susan Williams, retained ownership after his death.
