Rochester Polar Plunge returns Sunday. See past photos from event
The annual Rochester Polar Plunge is set to take place at Ontario Beach Park on Sunday.
The event, which raises awareness and funds for the New York Special Olympics, will feature a plunge into Lake Ontario, raffle prizes, costume contests, food, live DJ and more.
The plunge will begin at noon. Registration opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 11:40 a.m.
Participants must raise at least $100 to participate, either individually or as part of a team of 2-200.
Spectators are welcome to attend for free.
