Rochester representative among Minnesota Nurses Association's 2024 endorsed candidates

Sep. 5—ROCHESTER — State Rep. Tina Liebling, DFL-Rochester, is one of eight incumbent Minnesota House representatives endorsed by the Minnesota Nurses Association on Sunday.

"There is a crisis of corporate greed in our hospitals, driven by executives who are more focused on the bottom line than the bedside," said MNA president Mary Turner. "Nurses are proud to back candidates who stand with nurses to put patients before profits in our hospitals and urge all Minnesotans to join us in returning these healthcare champions to office."

Liebling, who represents House District 24B, was a co-author of two of MNA's top priority bills during hte 2023 legislative session: the hospital merger regulation bill (H.F. 402) and the

Keeping Nurses at the Bedside Act.

Liebling is also chair of the House Health Finance and Policy Committee.

DFL Reps. Kaela Berg (55B), Robert Bierman (56A), Sandra Feist (39B), Emma Greenman (63B), Jessica Hanson (55A), Sydney Jordan (60A) and Liz Olson also received the "MNA Chapmions" endorsement.
