His newest book, The First 21: How I Became Nikki Sixx, tells the inspirational story of how a young man named Franklin Feranna became the music icon we now know as Nikki Sixx, all within the first 21 years of his life. During an appearance on Dr. Phil airing Thursday, Sixx shares his inspiration for the memoir, details about his childhood, and why he changed his name.
