After an almost yearlong delay, "Captain Fantastic" — also known as Elton John — will come to Value City Arena on April 12, one of more than 40 North American arena dates on his recently resumed Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour.
John will take the audience on a magical journey through his 50-year career with never-before-seen photos and videos set to popular tunes including, “Bennie and the Jets,” “Rocket Man,” "Crocodile Rock" and, of course, "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road."
Originally scheduled for April 25, 2021, the concert was postponed due to the pandemic. Tickets purchased for the original show will be honored at the rescheduled performance.
Ticket prices for the April 12 concert begin at $195, with VIP packages, available through Ticketmaster.com.
Recently winning the 2021 iHeartRadio Golden Icon Award, the Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour has also received accolades, including the 2020 iHeartRadio Music Award for Tour Of The Year, 2020 Pollstar Major Tour of the Year, and the 2019 Billboard Music Award for Top Rock Tour.
Covering five continents and more than 350 dates, the five-year tour began in September 2018, and marks John's retirement from touring.
Following the European leg of the tour, John will return for a final bow in North America, with shows at major stadiums including Cleveland's Progressive Field.
