Rockford area's CherryVale Mall welcoming four new businesses this summer

If you plan on stopping by CherryVale Mall soon in Rockford, you'll be seeing some new stores.

The mall announced four new businesses will be opening soon.

Here's a look at the businesses:

  • El Vallarta Sports Bar & Grill: This sports bar and grill will offer a seafood experience with a touch of Nayarit-style Mexican cuisine. Unique sushi will also be available, according to the mall. The restaurant will be opening at the former Granite City Brewery location across from the mall.

  • Honeycomb: This business specializes in textured services for all hair types, including braiding, extensions, cuts, colors and nails. Honeycomb is scheduled to open in June.

  • Little People's Closet: Located next to the children's play area on the lower level of the mall, this store will sell children's apparel. The business will open in July.

  • Rockford T-Shirt Company: Combining with Crazy Teez, the T-Shirt Company is opening an expanded location in June. You're able to bring in your design and let them print it on almost anything. The business will also create a design for you if you don't have one.

Other recent new openings include:

  • Aladdin’s Jewelry: This business offers a selection of color memory pendants, 10K and14K gold, 925 sterling silver and plus jewelry repair services.

  • The Arch Booth: This new business provides eyebrow threading, tinting and filling services, in addition to facial waxing and eyelash tinting.

  • Max Custom Tailor: This business provides custom tailoring and alterations in addition to hand-tailored men’s suits, sportscoats, vests, shirts, pants and more. They have a large selection of fabrics to choose from, along with options for linings, buttons, and color combinations.

  • Next Level: This business sells urban clothing for everyone, including shoes and accessories.

The CherryVale Mall is located at 7200 Harrison Ave., Rockford.
