Rockford City Market seeks patron feedback

ROCKFORD — Just weeks after completing their 13th season, City Market organizers are asking patrons for input on how to improve the Friday summertime staple, which features dozens of vendors, live music and children’s activities.

Questions on the 2022 Market Patron Survey include who was their favorite vendor, how much money did they typically spend each week at the market and which downtown businesses did they visit before or after the market.

Patrons are also asked to rate the quality and variety of the vendors, the market layout, the main stage music and the food and beverage prices.

The deadline for completing the survey is Oct. 24, according to Cathy McDermott, executive director of Rock River Development Partnership, which oversees City Market.

“We think it all worked pretty well but we want to hear from people who attended,” McDermott said.
